Power Girl first appeared in DC All-Star Comics #58 in 1976. Power Girl is the counterpart of Super Girl in the main world, and is the cousin of Superman. Although she's from a different universe, she's still distinctly different from her younger and much younger Supergirl counterpart. She also experienced the demise of Krypton. The world she lives in is a parallel universe called Earth 2. Power Girl and his cousin Superman came to Earth 2 and grew up here to integrate into the society of Earth, and their usual identities is a computer programmer, and her Earth name is Karen Starr.
